CHICKEN KURMA

INGREDIENTS
  1. Chicken
  2. Onion
  3. Tomato
  4. curd
  5. Salt 
  6. pepper powder
  7. curry leaves
  8. mustard
  9. cumin powder
  10. coriander powder
  11. chilli powder
  12. chicken masala
  13. turmeric
  14. ginger garlic paste
  15. garam masala
  16. oil
  17. green chilli
  18. coriander leaves(chopped)
  19. cumin
  20. Whole garam masala

FOR GRINDING
  1. cashew nuts
  2. Coconut

METHOD
  • Marinate the chicken with salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste,garam masala powder, cumin powder and curd. Keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan, splutter the curry leaves, mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  • Toss in the whole garam masala( clove,cinnamon, cardamom)
  • Add the ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes away
  • add the chopped onion and chillies and saute till brown
  • Add the turmeric powder, cumin powder,  chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala,pepper powder and chicken masala
  • Add the tomatos and the ground paste and saute
  • Add the curd
  • Add the chicken pieces and cook till done
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
