PRAWN FRY

INGREDIENTS
  1. Prawns- 500gms
  2. Chilli powder- 1 tsp
  3. Kashmiri chilli powder- 2tsp
  4. Turrmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  5. Onion 1 small
  6. Tomato paste- 1 tbsp
  7. ginger garlic paste- 1 1/2 tsp
  8. curry leaves- 1 spring
  9. corriander leaves- for garnishing
  10. Coconut oil
  11. Salt

METHOD
  • Clean, devein and wash the prawns
  • Marinate the prawns with 1 tsp chilli powder and salt. keep aside for at least 1/2 hour
  • Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds,add the curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and fry.
  • Add the onion and fry till brown
  • Add the turmeric powder and the kashmiri chilli powder.
  • Add the tomato paste and stir well
  • Stir in the prawns and cook in a low flame for 20- 30 min.( no need to add water)
  • Garnish with corriander leaves and serve hot.
